Purpose
Drive and support the development, implementation and execution of new business models and opportunities for BU Football.
Assignment is related to the implementation of a new footwear concept (working title: “GLITCH”).
Drive the implementation by managing defined parts of the cross-functional project team, regions and markets involved including the European GLITCH markets.
Support the mid-/long-term planning and roll-out of the business model.
Support the implementation of a start-up related culture through all aspects and timings of the development, implementation and execution of GLITCH.
Key Accountabilities
Key City Management
* Manage and support implementation of GLITCH within the organization and markets in collaboration with assigned project funtions and markets:
* Creation of business cases to support requirements
* Conduct and enforce project management towards assigned project functions
* Management of communication flow towards assigned local organizations and markets involved.
* Manage and supervise the overall project plan incl. tracking of deliverables per city
Comms Planning
* Own the overall comms planning approach in collaboration with the Business Development Manager
* Collate and maintain up to date the provision of relevant Business Intelligence (ie. any data arising from the local operations) and benchmarking - both internal and external – to support decision making and performance enhancement re the comms plan
* Act as the key interface towards business partners such as local markets and GLITCH executional units on the ground
Organisation & Change Management (Start-Up Culture)
* Support in ensuring a lean Start-Up approach is maintained throughout all phases of the implementation and execution of the GLITCH model across the whole project network
* Manage initiatives and tools to ensure the communication of the vision and key priorities of GLITCH across the organization
Validation&Implementation
* Supervise and support the consumer validation&implementation process for GLITCH (incl. potential on-the-ground presence)
* Ensure all defined functions deliver against the assigned responsibilities on-time and in-full in order to ensure a successful go-live.

* WE BU Football and key city teams/local markets appointed for GLITCH roll-out

Knowledge, Experiance and Capabilities
* Previous sales/consulting experience within the international sporting goods industry
* Experience in managing complex mid to large size projects
* Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, negotiation)
* Proven methodological skills (e.g. business planning, strategic development)
* Very good functional skills (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations)
* Demonstrated knowledge of business KPIs and strong ability to work with numbers
* Ability to coach, guide, manage and develop people
Qualifications
1. University degree in business, ideally with business, sales or finance focus
2. Functional: 6-8 years’ professional experience, majority within a project management function or in a business development related area (ie. CtC, Retail, Brand Marketing)
3. Leadership: preferably 2 years of leadership of experts
4. Cross-functional experience, ideally with marketing / sales / supply chain management
5. Global mindset and ability to work cross-culturally; experience within different countries and/or different cultures
