Human Resources Specialist (m/f/d) – Germany Düsseldorf, Nord Rhein Westfalen Full-time • Permanent job We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our Eavor GmbH team in Germany. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our international HR team based in Calgary, Canada, to deliver people-focused support and solutions across the business. We’re seeking a proactive and adaptable HR professional with experience in talent acquisition, talent management, and people operations. Roles and Responsibilities: Payroll & Benefits • Support monthly payroll preparation in collaboration with the Calgary HR team, including updates, document checks, and submission to health and social insurance providers • Track time sheets, vacation day accruals, and overtime • Manage compensation-related documentation and provide guidance on employee benefits • Assist in annual compensation processes and budget forecasting Recruitment & Onboarding • Coordinate recruitment activities in collaboration with the Calgary HR team • Manage job postings, candidate communication, interviews, and hiring documentation • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including workplace setup and documentation • Help maintain and update job descriptions Employee Lifecycle & Administration • Prepare employment reference letters • Manage carpool leases and compliance with leasing guidelines • Support with secondee management, including work permits and fee tracking • Ensure data protection compliance and handle confidential employee requests • Serve as liaison with Calgary HR team for cross-border HR needs Leave Management • Track and manage all types of leave, including required documentation Training & Development • Support training needs identification and coordination • Assist with coaching initiatives and individual employee development requests People Programs & Reporting • Support global HR processes including annual goal setting, performance reviews, and goal setting • Assist in HR-related budgeting, reporting, and planning • Maintain employee records in compliance with legal and company standards Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in an international or matrix organization • Solid knowledge of German labor law, social insurance, and payroll processes • Experience with HR administration and employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, leave, contracts, etc.) • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with HRIS tools is an asset • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Fluent in German and proficient in English (written and spoken) • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across global teams • Experience supporting or coordinating with external payroll providers or recruiters is a plus Our Offer: • Attractive remuneration package • Training and development opportunities • Flexible working hours with flextime and two days per week of mobile working • 30 days vacation plus additional days off at Christmas, New Year's Eve and Rose Monday • Modern office with height-adjustable desks and good transport connections • Dynamically growing company with flat hierarchies • A variety of design options • Committed, motivated and international team • Choice between job ticket or parking space • Allowance for private internet contract • Regular company events About Eavor Technologies Inc.
