Your Prospective Job:
For our renowned customer Airbus Helicopters you are acting as a Stress Engineer (m/f/d) at the location Donauwörth.
Your Responsibilities
* Dimensioning, analysis, and verification of components within dynamic systems, considering weight and performance constraints
* Execution of static calculations and durability analyses for metallic and composite structures using analytical methods and FE simulations
* Conducting fatigue and lifetime analyses
* Definition, coordination, and evaluation of testing procedures
* Monitoring and support of flight test campaigns
* Assessment of quality reports and manufacturing deviations
* Verification and validation of repairs and production changes
* Handling customer inquiries and investigation of in-service incidents
Your Profile:
* Completed studies in engineering, aerospace or comparable
* Several years of work experience in engineering with a focus on strength
* Experience in structural strength analysis is an advantage
* Experience with common analytical strength methods (e.g.: HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
* Strong knowledge of EFM tools (Hypermesh, Optistruct, NASTRAN, ABAQUS)
* Fluent English skills both spoken and written
* German knowledge is beneficial
