Your tasks
As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for the auxiliary systems of our gas turbines, steam turbines and generators, you will be responsible for conducting supplier qualification, development, and quality assurance measures. You will work closely with various departments in a multicultural environment, both locally and globally, within a global supply chain management process. An SQE utilizes digitalization tools to enhance our processes and addresses nonconformances by conducting containment, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing preventive measures and risk mitigation strategies.
8. Support a cross-functional team by assessing supplier capabilities, auditing supplier quality management system & processes, etc.
9. Product and Process Qualification: Support the supplier quality assurance measures along the complete PPQ. Approve supplier process via submitted Manufacturing Quality Control Plan.
10. Perform source / virtual / desk inspection of suppliers of components and systems in the area of responsibility.
11. Coordinate nonconformance processing at the supplier and ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
12. Monitor supplier Key Performance Indicators and adjust quality, inspection, and development planning activities accordingly.
13. Facilitate or support supplier qualification & development status meetings. Ensure qualifications are on track and potentials risks are identified.
14. Work with various Supplier Quality & Development tools and databases. Ensure data quality and transparency.
Your profile
15. Bachelor or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline.
16. technical experience with industrial process technology and /or auxiliary systems in energy generation plants preferred
17. 3+ years' experience in technical field and/or working in Supply Chain Management, Quality Management
18. Experience in conducting supplier audits, Knowledge about the requirements of ISO 9001 preferred, additional ISO14001 and ISO 45001 are welcome
19. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
20. Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality & risk management methodologies
21. Willingness to travel ~30%
