EHS Manager – Semiconductor Industry
Weilheim or Munich surrounding area, Germany
We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join our semiconductor facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on professional with deep expertise in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management, clean room environments, and local regulatory compliance.
What you’ll do:
* Establish and maintain an EHS management system aligned with international & national standards (ISO 14000, OHSAS18000).
* Ensure compliance, maintain existing systems, and drive continuous improvement.
* Coordinate internal and external audits .
* Collaborate with local authorities, accident insurers, safety regulators, and environmental agencies.
* Guide departments to identify risks, implement improvements, and execute safety checks, risk assessments, emergency plans, and drills.
* Organize and deliver employee EHS training .
What we’re looking for:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry, Electronics, or equivalent .
* Certified Safety Engineer (or equivalent).
* 10+ years in EHS management, ideally in the semiconductor industry .
* Strong understanding of clean room operations .
* Open-minded, hands-on, and cross-culturally aware.
* Fluent in English & German (written and spoken).
* Ability to work in multicultural, cross-functional teams .
* Willing to relocate to Weilheim area, hold a valid German work permit, and work on-site.
* Deep knowledge of local regulations and experience liaising with government authorities.
