Here's what our clients offer
1. Real engineering: A challenging task with deep technical design freedom in a highly innovative machine park.
2. Short communication channels, quick action: Instead of rigid corporate structures, we offer you a culture in which your technical optimization ideas are directly evaluated, budgeted, and implemented without complications.
3. Appreciation that pays off: An attractive, competitive salary that reflects your technical expertise.
4. Together instead of against each other: An open, direct and respectful corporate culture in a team of technology enthusiasts who are taken seriously.
Your tasks
They assume overall technical responsibility for our highly complex coating, drying and packaging systems – from process engineering design and measurement and control technology to sustainable performance improvement during ongoing operation.
5. They plan, manage and implement investment projects, conversions and retrofit projects on our highly complex machinery and building technology.
6. Through systematic maintenance strategies (e.g. TPM) and process optimization, you maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and plant availability.
7. In the case of complex malfunctions, you conduct in-depth analysis (mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics) and resolve them sustainably in close symbiosis with production and maintenance.
8. They maintain and optimize our process control technology. This includes a deep understanding of PLC controls, drive technology (frequency converters/servos) as well as high-resolution sensors and actuators (e.g. for web tension or temperature control).
9. They create and maintain technical documentation, P&ID flowcharts, measuring point lists, and design 3D constructions and components securely using Autodesk Fusion.
10. They coordinate external service providers and suppliers, conduct FATs/SATs (Factory/Site Acceptance Tests) during commissioning, and form the technical bridge between production, purchasing, and R&D.
Your profile
11. A completed technical degree (Bachelor of Engineering) or comparable training (state-certified technician) with a focus on mechanical engineering, mechatronics or automation technology.
12. Several years of professional experience in engineering, maintenance or operation of complex production plants (ideally in the areas of web processing, paper, film or chemicals).
13. Experience in technical project management and ideally knowledge of modern maintenance methods and lean principles.
14. They have a hands-on attitude, proactively identify technical bottlenecks and independently develop constructive solutions.
15. They communicate technical issues clearly at all levels – from machine operators to management.
16. Excellent CAD skills (Fusion), confident use of ERP and PLT systems, and very good German and fluent English skills for our international environment.
