<p><strong>Senior Manager / Associate Director Global MS&T </strong></p><p><br></p><p>Location: Frankfurt/Munich/Berlin</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>A leading, innovation-driven biopharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director to join its Global Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) function.</p><p><br></p><p>In this role, you will act as a global subject matter expert (SME) in upstream and/or downstream processing, supporting the delivery of complex biologics products across an international manufacturing network.</p><p><br></p><p>You will play a critical role in ensuring process consistency, robustness, and performance across internal sites and external partners, contributing directly to the successful commercialization of advanced therapies.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide technical leadership and strategic oversight for upstream and/or downstream manufacturing processes across a global network</li><li>Act as a key interface with external manufacturing partners (e.g., CDMOs), ensuring alignment on technical standards and performance expectations</li><li>Lead process harmonisation and standardisation initiatives across multiple sites</li><li>Analyse manufacturing performance data, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Own and drive technical lifecycle management, from late-stage development through commercial manufacturing and post-approval changes</li><li>Support technology transfer, process validation, and troubleshooting activities</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline</li><li>Significant industry experience in biologics manufacturing, with strong exposure to upstream and/or downstream processing</li><li>Experience working with external manufacturing partners/CDMOs in a global environment</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders</li><li>Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Join?</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunity to work on cutting-edge biologics and advanced therapies</li><li>High-impact role with global visibility across manufacturing operations</li><li>Collaborative, science-led environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement</li><li>Strong commitment to professional development and career progression</li><li>Flexible and supportive working culture designed to enable high performance</li></ul><p></p>
