Your role and responsibilities
This role focuses on supporting global procurement for plastics and metals by helping develop and implement sourcing strategies, risk management (including metals hedging), and supplier management in collaboration with category leaders. It involves building and leveraging data analytics for spend optimization, driving procurement standards and processes, and supporting key initiatives such as negotiations, dual sourcing, and sustainability (including carbon footprint reduction). Additionally, the role tracks performance through KPIs and scorecards while ensuring clear cross-functional communication across teams and stakeholders.
Global Procurement Specialist role is created to support the procurement organization in first 1-2 year during maternity leave of one colleague, with opportunity for long term extension afterwards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support development and ensure implementation of procurement strategies for direct and raw materials categories (Plastics/Metals), sourcing, finance, risk management, supply base management, and sustainability – in close collaboration with global category leaders.
* Support the global metals-commodities financial hedging process in collaboration with the Global Category Manager, ensuring effective risk management and cost optimization across the organization's raw metals portfolio.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive data analytics and database infrastructure for plastics raw material spend across direct and indirect purchases, working cross-functionally with global plants and regional teams to drive continuous improvement and supply chain efficiency (key input for global benchmarking and negotiations).
* Contribute to development and implementation of procurement standards, tools, and processes across the global organization (e.g., Procure2Pay, RFQ analysis and evaluation, supplier development and evaluation).
* Support development and execution of procurement initiatives aligned with ELSB division and Business Lines priorities (e.g., market and supplier conditions evaluation, negotiation support, Dual Sourcing, Key Projects, Sustainability initiatives with focus on Product Carbon Footprint emissions mapping and reduction).
* Facilitate implementation of annual scorecards in collaboration with global and division Procurement Managers, covering cost reduction, supplier delivery performance, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and other KPIs.
* Ensure clear and transparent communication internally, externally, and across different organizational units.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Bachelor (preferred Masters) in: Economics OR Business and Administration OR Engineering.
* 2-5 years’ experience in procurement / sourcing / (planning & fulfillment as additional asset).
* Spend, Budget & Performance Management (e.g.: spend analysis, cost structure to the level of total cost of ownership, suppliers’ performance evaluation).
* Supplier Relationship Management.
* Supply Chain Management (e.g.: flow of goods and value add creation).
* Data Analysis & Reporting.
* Understanding of contractual conditions (incl. global supply terms and conditions).
* Power BI reports and dashboards creation in Power BI Desktop App (additional asset).
