Global S&OP Process Manager (m/f/d)

By providing test and measurement tools for research and development and assurance of product quality, our client plays an essential role in transforming high-tech innovations into practical, commercial applications. At its locations in Böblingen we are searching for a Global S&OP Process Manager (m/f/d).

Your key tasks:
In this key role, you will take ownership of the global Sales & Operations Planning framework and drive the alignment of demand and supply planning across all business units.
Your Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and continuously improve a standardized global S&OP process framework across all business units
* Define process cadence, meeting structures, data analysis standards, and decision-making protocols in close alignment with international stakeholders
* Lead and govern the full S&OP cycle (Demand Review, Supply Review, Executive S&OP)
* Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders
* Resolve demand and supply conflicts through structured decision-making processes
* Drive scenario planning and support risk mitigation strategies
* Consolidate plans and present recommendations to senior leadership
* Further develop and optimize S&OP planning tools in collaboration with digital transformation and process excellence teams
* Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators (e.g., forecast accuracy, service level, inventory health) to ensure transparency and governance
Your Profile:
* Several years of solid experience in Supply Chain Operations and/or Supply Chain Planning, ideally within a complex, international organization
* Proven track record in designing and implementing S&OP processes
* Strong analytical capabilities, including data analysis, scenario modeling, and statistical forecasting
* Experience as a key user of demand and supply planning tools (e.g., Oracle, Kinaxis o9, SAP IBP, or comparable systems)
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in an international environment
* Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt are welcome
* Ideally Background in change management and process transformation initiatives
* Experience with cost simulation and advanced scenario planning tools is nice to have
* Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capability
* Willingness to travel max. three times per year to Asia
* Fluent English communication skills
