For our headquarter in Hechingen, we are looking to fill the following position:
Your mission
* You ensure the smooth running of your department so that our products are shipped promptly and without errors and all associated regulations and requirements are met, both nationally and internationally
* You ensure that the team complies with the specified standards and quality guidelines
* You will lead a motivated team and conduct regular feedback meetings to further develop your team members.
* You will be responsible for process optimisation: analysing and continuously improving warehouse and logistics processes, as well as proactively participating in projects to increase efficiency.
* You will be jointly responsible for communicating the company's goals and strategies to your team.
* You will ensure the daily operational flow in the warehouse and contribute to the achievement of the company's operational and strategic goals.
* You will report directly to the Customer Service Manager and work equally with internal interfaces and external service providers.
Your profile
* You have completed training in logistics, freight forwarding or a comparable qualification, ideally with further training (e.g. warehouse logistics specialist, master craftsman in warehouse management, logistics specialist).
* You have at least 3 years of professional experience in warehouse logistics, ideally with initial management experience
* Desirable: further training as a customs agent, AEVO certificate, international experience, further training in business administration
* Additional skills such as in-depth knowledge of warehouse processes (goods receipt and issue, order picking, shipping, inventory), ideally also in the areas of lean management, process optimisation and occupational safety, would be an advantage
* You are proficient in MS Office applications and confident in using an ERP system, ideally Navision
* Knowledge of quality management systems is desirable
* You have strong leadership and social skills with a hands-on mentality: willing to get involved in operational tasks yourself
* High sense of responsibility and quality orientation, complemented by organisational skills, decision-making ability and assertiveness
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal interfaces and external service providers
* You speak and write fluent German and English
