Mechanical Development Engineer (m/w/d)

* Develop and design enclosures for stand-alone applications as well as rack systems
* Design and optimize cooling systems, including heat sink design, air-flow routing in close collaboration with the power electronics development team
* Integrate mechanical components into overall product concepts to ensure optimum functionality and reliability
* Create 3D models, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials
* Perform simulations and prototype testing to validate designs
* Work closely with different departments
* Continuously improving existing products in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
* Several years of professional experience in mechanical development, ideally in the field of power electronics or power supplies
* Experience in the design and optimization of enclosures and cooling systems is a plus
* Solid knowledge of CAD systems, especially SolidWorks and PDM
* Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong team spirit
* Very good English skills and good German skills
