We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Actuarial Analyst (all genders) to join our dynamic international team. This position is an excellent opportunity to work at a strong professional level in a highly skilled international team.

Your resposibilities:
* Take ownership of actuarial analyses, ensuring consistency, reconciliation, and reasonableness of data across sources

* Lead and enhance actuarial projection models (e.g., reserving models), including the selection of appropriate methodologies for estimating claim development and ultimate losses
* Conduct and oversee detailed segmentation analyses to identify patterns in performance and provide strategic recommendations to underwriting teams
* Provide actuarial leadership in the development and refinement of pricing models, including both new model builds and the ongoing improvement of existing models
* Coordinate the actuarial contribution to the business planning process, integrating outputs from reserving and pricing, and developing tools to support business decision-making
* Analyzse and interpret data from pricing models to identify profitability drivers and refine model parameters accordingly
* Deal with requests from carriers where appropriate
* Ensure comprehensive documentation of actuarial processes and methodologies, maintaining high standards of quality and regulatory compliance
* Liaise with the international team on complex data queries and technical discussions as needed
* Participate in and contribute to internal actuarial meetings, including presenting findings and sharing knowledge
* Mentor and support the development of junior actuaries, while continuously expanding personal expertise in actuarial techniques and insurance market knowledge
Your profile:
* University degree in Mathematics or related field
* 5 years of relevant professional experience
* Ideally actuarial qualifications from DAV or other recognized association
* Technical knowledge of the general insurance market
* Strong knowledge of reserving and pricing processes
* Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Good communicator in German and English and able to explain technical concepts to non-technicians
* Experience with MS Excel; VBA, SQL, Python, R, or SAS skills
* Able to work on own initiative, work independently, meet deadlines, prioritise workloads
