Als Junior Sales Technician (m/w/d) haben Sie bereits Kenntnisse in der Beschichtungstechnologie und entwickeln sich zum technischen Experten und Kundenversteher im Bereich Holzbeschichtungen. Sie sorgen dafür, dass unsere Kunden nicht nur zufriedener, sondern auch erfolgreicher werden. Sie begleiten Projekte von der Idee bis zur Umsetzung, optimieren Prozesse, lösen Herausforderungen direkt vor Ort und bringen innovative Lösungen auf den Weg.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensures customer quality and service expectations are met.
2. Supports customers with plant audits, trouble-shooting, general technical support and process development.
3. Eliminates or reduces customer complaints.
4. Helps increase volume growth.
5. Communicates competitive information, new products and selling issues to Sales Managers and other relevant persons.
6. Communicates extended product knowledge in wood technology.
7. Attends coatings seminars and trade shows pertinent to sales/marketing.
8. Manages product trials at designated customer facilities.
9. Maintains contact with laboratory on current technical issues.
10. Assists with equipment installation and various line or equipment modifications/adjustments.
11. Conducts technical training seminars at customers’ facilities.
12. Evaluates product complaints and decides the best way to resolve problems.
13. Assists customers in preparing paint specifications to meet product applications.
14. Advises customers of product line changes and improvements.
15. Maintains expertise in product finishes equipment use and surface preparation.
16. Assists customers with product inventory control/re-ordering.
17. Trains customers on product knowledge and application methods.
18. Assists Area Sales Managers by preparing samples, panels, etc. for presentations.
19. Maintains customer technical service issues on file for follow-up.
20. Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
21. Higher level education in a related field
Knowledge & Experience:
22. 0-5 years of experience in theIndustrial wood coatings market
23. Basic understanding of, and experience in industrial wood coatings market
24. Good basic knowledge of coatings technology and curing processes
25. Experience with robotic, autospray, vacuum and roller coating application systems
26. Understanding of Apollo or other root-cause analysis techniques
Technical/skill Requirements:
27. Ability to hand-spray all major coatings technologies.

29. Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
30. Familiarity with various paint and coatings technologies.
31. Familiarity with coatings application.
