Das Kompetenzzentrum für Reaktionsschnelle Satellitenverbringung (Responsive Space Cluster Competence Center, RSC³) des DLR in Trauen ist eine in Deutschland einzigartige Einrichtung, die sich ganzheitlich mit dem Themengebiet Responsive Space beschäftigt. Dieses spannende Forschungsgebiet befasst sich mit der Fragestellung, wie schneller, flexibler und sicherer im Weltraum agiert werden kann, mit dem Ziel die Resilienz von kritischer Infrastruktur im All zu erhöhen. Dazu werden im RSC³ innovative Konzepte und Technologien untersucht, entwickelt und demonstriert.
What to expect
At the Ground Segment department of the Responsive Space Cluster Competence Center in Trauen, we focus on observing the space environment. To achieve this, we utilize, among other things, the Laser Ground Station Trauen (LaBoT), an optical ground station capable of observing and optically communicating with satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). In order to restructure or diversify the operation of the station, we are looking for a student who can contribute solutions at a conceptual and developmental level. The task involves developing and improving the control of individual components of the station.
