What you can expect from us...
1. Develop and operate core components of our data infrastructure for event tracking and analytics
2. Implement and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and streaming) under guidance of senior engineers
3. Build, deploy, and monitor data workflows using modern cloud and open-source technologies
4. Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product teams to understand data requirements
5. Contribute to improving reliability, robustness, and cost-efficiency of the data platform
6. Participate in on-call rotations and operational topics where appropriate
What we would expect from you...
7. A few years of professional experience as a Data Platform Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role
8. Good understanding of cloud-based data platforms, ideally on AWS
9. Hands-on experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes basics
10. Practical experience with at least one modern data warehouse or query engine (e.g. Snowflake, Trino, ClickHouse)
11. Solid Python skills and initial experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
12. Experience with batch and/or streaming data processing (Spark and/or Flink)
13. Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow
14. Willingness to learn, take ownership of components, and grow within a central data platform team
