Senior Legal Counsel - Business Partner
A globally active company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Global Legal & IP Team and serve as the primary contact for legal matters. Acting as a proactive and pragmatic partner to the business, you will leverage your comprehensive legal expertise to support international operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering high-quality legal advice on a range of issues, including licensing, distribution, services, supply, lease, purchase, confidentiality, marketing, and other commercial agreements.
* Steering and managing civil and administrative litigation matters.
* Collaborating closely with business units to identify new opportunities, structure marketing models, and provide legally sound, pragmatic solutions while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
* Providing legal support for mergers and acquisitions.
* Assisting in the development and implementation of standard contracts, templates, model clauses, and legal document and know-how/license management tools, leveraging Legal Tech solutions.
* Overseeing overarching corporate matters and coordinating external legal advisors.
Requirements:
* Holder of a legal degree.
* Extensive experience in commercial law, preferably in a global industrial setting.
* Solid knowledge of both national and international legal frameworks.
* Ability to offer legally robust yet pragmatic advice.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
* Strong customer focus and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders across different organizational levels.
* Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in both English and German, written and spoken.
