The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.
Tasks
* You are in charge of set-up/programming of an easy-to-use packaging database: to administrate empty customer and supplier trays, to control material received and material sent out…(projects)
* You work on layout optimizations for better material flow inside the plant (projects)
* You participate and support in weekly SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning)
* You prepare forecasts / disposition of material
* You monitor backlog / late supplier deliveries ("early warning system")
Profil
* You have engineering degree or relevant Bachelor degree in Logistics
* You have a first experience in the relevant field (internships, work-study)
* You have B2 and higher in English and minimum B1 – in German
* You have a good knowledge of MS Office, basics In SAP and are a fast-learner
* You are well-organized and are good at time management
* You have never worked in Germany (Business France criteria)
* You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
* You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
