To strengthen our application team we are currently looking for a Application Scientist SC-XRD (m/w/d) in Karlsruhe, Germany. determining customer's requirements through technical sales consulting maintaining and channeling communication between customers and the company measuring, reporting, and presenting results on customer samples providing application input for system integrations and products developments planning and conducting customer visits to the applications department technical advice and support of service groups deployed on-site in problem cases choosing and compiling suitable application data for marketing materials Master or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geosciences or related field 3 to 5 years of experience in X-ray diffraction advanced background in single-crystal X-ray diffraction and hands-on experience with X-ray instruments flexibility, communication, and team-work skills are required ability and willingness to travel (domestically and internationally) to customer sites and scientific meetings result-oriented work approach and self-organization capabilities fluent in English
