As a Team Leader in HVDC control technology, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing state-of-the-art control systems. This position requires daily management of a team while overseeing both technical and managerial responsibilities in projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage an engineering team of 20 employees specializing in HVDC control technology, ensuring effective coordination of personnel planning and team development.Strategically develop the team in alignment with market trends and customer requirements.Monitor and manage team performance across international projects, ensuring compliance with cost, time, and quality parameters.Oversee deployment and training initiatives for employees from collaborating HUBs, CoCs, and CoEs worldwide.Conceptualize and outline control technologies for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems, collaborating with relevant departments to drive innovative solutions.Manage project responsibilities, including internal and external concept clarification, customer engagement, software development support, documentation, testing, and commissioning of HVDC systems.Coordinate cost calculation, offer documentation, and concept clarification for proposals.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, specializing in energy technology, with extensive professional experience.Proven experience in team leadership, project planning, and control technology systems management.Strong understanding of converter and high-voltage technology, with comprehensive knowledge of control technology.Proficiency in HVDC system technology, automation, protection, and control technology.Strong interpersonal skills to manage customer interactions and negotiations effectively.Willingness to travel for customer engagements and after-sales operations.Full professional proficiency in English; German proficiency is a plus.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagementIndustriesElectrical Equipment Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
