KG as a Structure Mechanics Aircraft Propeller (m/f/d) Design, analyze and optimization of design solutions of aircraft/hovercraft Propeller parts, complex assemblies and whole integrated Propeller systems with lowest total weight and best efficiency Conducting component life assessments under consideration of complex static and dynamic load profiles, including multi-disciplinary coupling effects (e.g., thermal, vibration analysis) Create test plans and support verification activities (e.g. static, modal and fatigue tests) throughout the whole development process from prototype to product level Plan and co-ordinate R&D activities with key universities and suppliers Create design and manufacturing specifications in strong collaboration with manufacturing specialists and external suppliers Work based on an aerospace quality management system and conduct regular design reviews to drive the product safety, manufacturability and robustness Master's degree or PhD in mechanical or aerospace engineering or similar professional experience Long experience in the design and proof of aerospace structures Processing several years of hands-on experience in prototype and product development, along with strong team and project management skills Strong analytic background in engineering mechanics, propeller dynamics and rotating machines of any kind Expert skills in calculation and FEM simulation (e.g. Simcenter X, Nastran or equivalent) of rotating components under consideration of static, dynamic and multi-disciplinary conditions Experience in system engineering and the use of requirement management tools Appreciation of aerospace standards such as DO-160 and ARP4754A as well as acceptable means of compliance and special compliance methods iaw.
