Your tasks
10. In this position, you will take on a wide range of animal care activities and ensure the best possible husbandry and care conditions for the animals at the site
11. You will ensure compliance with and implementation of the requirements of the Animal Welfare Act and be responsible for creating deployment and vacation plans
12. In addition, you will independently coordinate and monitor operations, commission maintenance work and manage the building technology
13. Your tasks will also include coordinating animal room management, monitoring hygiene and ensuring compliance with EHS guidelines
Your profile
14. Completed master craftsman qualification (e.g.Animal care foreman, industrial foreman or agricultural foreman) or comparable qualification
15. Practical experience in handling animals and knowledge of species-appropriate husbandry and care desirable
16. Extensive experience in the administrative area, especially in planning, organization and documentation
17. Very good knowledge of MS Office as well as an affinity and willingness to familiarize yourself with new systems
18. Knowledge of the relevant legal requirements (e.g.e.g. Animal Welfare Act) and their implementation
19. Confident handling of hygiene and EHS guidelines
20. Good communication and teamwork skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
21. Fluent German and good English skills
