Director / Associate Director Global Product Strategy and Commercialization Cambridge, US; London, United Kingdom; Mainz, Germany | full time | Job ID:8962 As part of BioNTech's mission to convert science into survival, we are building a new Oncology commercial organization and seeking an experienced and mission-driven Associate Director/Director of Global Product Strategy for mRNA Cancer Therapies. In this role, you will contribute to Core Program Teams and the Global Commercialization Subteam and work cross-functionally to shape program decisions, from the pre-clinical stage to pivotal trial designs, with the goal of optimizing the potential of the programs for patients, healthcare providers (HCPs), and payers. You will contribute to the Global Strategic Plan and work cross-functionally to align and prepare the organization for the launch and commercialization of our Oncology Products globally, developing key Global Brand deliverables. This position can be filled in Germany, UK or US (Eastern Coast), with some flexibility on the exact location. Partner with the Program Teams (including Clinical Development, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Research etc.) to shape programs decisions to maximize patient impact globally. Execute development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, including market shaping, product branding, positioning, and scientific messaging, to maximize the number of appropriate patients treated. Leverage understanding of oncology healthcare customers, including providers, key opinion leaders, patients, and market access stakeholders, to inform the go to market approach that drives customer behavior change and market performance. Continually monitor and analyze market, customer, and competitor trends, incorporating insights into the cross-functional team decisions and commercialization plans. Partner closely and provide strategic direction to cross-functional groups (e.g. Insights & Analytics, R&D, regulatory affairs, sales, finance, and Medical Affairs) for the development and implementation of strategic and executional plans. Execute budget requirements and ensure monitoring and tracking accordingly. Manage vendor partnerships to ensure key activities are executed to plan, cost-effective and within budget. Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry with increasing responsibilities at Global or Affiliate level. Knowledge and experience in the NSCLC, Breast, GI and Colorectal cancer markets space and/or in complex individualized therapies (Car-T, RLT) is required. Experience in some of the following areas required: launch within a Global or affiliate Brand Team or New Product Planning / Early Commercial Strategy. Experience in global or affiliate commercial/marketing roles or as a consultant supporting these functions. An Undergraduate degree is required. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Strong collaboration, team- and alignment-building skills. Fluent in English.
