Sales Director Job Description:
* Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth within the DACH region.
* Customer Engagement: Establish strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate bids, negotiate terms and schedules, and ensure seamless project execution.
* Offer Preparation: Work closely with tendering teams to create compelling technical and commercial offers that meet customer needs.
* Brand Representation: Serve as a company ambassador at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events, promoting the brand's values and products.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a technical sales role, preferably in electrical engineering or switchgear, or products targeting similar customer segments.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of switchgear, electrical products, and ability to communicate complex technical details effectively.
* Sales Expertise: Proven ability to navigate the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to building lasting customer relationships.
* Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with prior experience selling complex technical products (preferably in switchgear).
* Self-Driven: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and achieve sales goals with minimal supervision.
* Problem-Solver: Quick thinking and adaptability are essential for resolving new challenges and prioritizing tasks effectively.
* Languages: Fluency in German (spoken and written) is mandatory. English language skills are a plus.
* Travel: Willingness to travel regularly within the region; a valid driver's license is advantageous.
