In this role, you will take on a key leadership position, shaping and developing the regional engineering organization with a strong focus on semiconductor fabrication facilities. You will play a critical role in driving technical excellence, enhancing operational performance, and contributing to long-term business growth in a highly dynamic and future-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior discipline directors and managers within a complex, multi-disciplinary EPC engineering environment
• Drive engineering performance, including resource and capacity planning, to meet quality, schedule, and cost targets
• Ensure consistent implementation of global engineering standards, tools, and digital best practices (e.g., BIM/VDC)
• Take accountability for engineering’s contribution to regional business performance, including financial discipline and scalable growth
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with Project Delivery, Business Development, and Global Engineering
• Strengthen engineering competitiveness by building sustainable organizational capabilities and robust talent pipelines
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and alignment with global best practices across the engineering function
Requirements
* Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
* 15+ years of experience in EPC and advanced technology facility projects (e.g., semiconductor fabs, battery production, or similar high-tech environments)
* Proven experience leading senior managers within large, multi-disciplinary engineering organizations
* Strong expertise in engineering execution models, best-practice tools, and structured process environments
* Demonstrated leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Collaborative, open-minded leadership style with strong networking capabilities
* Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous
