Location: EU-based (German & English speaking required)
Travel: 1x per month, 3-4 days onsite (all expenses covered)
Profile Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP QM Consultant with strong expertise in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) integration and hands-on exposure to Fiori applications. The consultant will support a major S/4HANA transformation, focusing on quality processes, master data, testing workflows, and ensuring seamless integration between SAP QM and the client's LIMS platform.
The ideal consultant can work independently, manage workshops, liaise with technical and business stakeholders, and drive implementation tasks through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead SAP QM workstreams within an ongoing S/4HANA implementation.
2. Design, configure, optimise, and support QM processes including inspection lots, results recording, sampling, and quality notifications.
3. Manage LIMS integration, ensuring correct data mapping, interface functionality, and end-to-end process validation.
4. Support and configure QM Fiori Apps and ensure user adoption.
5. Conduct workshops with business teams in both German and English.
6. Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers and interface teams.
7. Perform system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and documentation.
8. Provide go-live and hypercare support.
9. Occasional onsite visits (monthly).
Required Skills & Experience
10. 5+ years' experience as an SAP QM consultant.
11. Proven experience integrating SAP QM with LIMS systems (any major LIMS,, LabWare, LIMS365, SAP LIMS, etc.).
12. Strong knowledge of S/4HANA QM processes.
13. Experience with Fiori QM apps (setup, configuration, troubleshooting).
14. Ability to run workshops and communicate with business stakeholders.
15. Fluent German and English.
Nice to Have
16. Experience in regulated industries (pharma, chemicals, manufacturing).
17. Understanding of QM master data (inspection characteristics, MICs, sampling procedures).
18. Experience with IDoc/PI/PO/CPI integrations.
19. Previous involvement in long-term S/4HANA programs.
