Site Supervisor – Onshore Wind (Civil Focus) – Native German Speaker
Location: Eifel, Germany
Start date: March 2nd
Travel: 2–3 monthly site visits (1–3 days each) + office?based work with travel and accommodation covered
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced native German?speaking Site Supervisor with a strong background in onshore wind civil construction for a long?term assignment of approximately one year. The role combines periodic on?site supervision with construction management support and close collaboration with project teams.
This position is critical and requires a professional who can confidently represent the client on site, manage contractors, and ensure high?quality execution of civil works, cable laying, and WTG delivery, installation, and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight of cable laying activities
Supervision during WTG delivery, installation, and commissioning
Ensuring adherence to German standards, safety rules, and construction best practices
Quality control and compliance monitoring
Daily/weekly reporting and documentation
Required Competence & Experience
Native German speaker (mandatory) – fluent enough to confidently handle clients, contractors, and on?site discussions
Proven experience in German onshore wind construction supervision
3+ years of experience but 5+ is preferred
Solid understanding of German construction regulations and safety requirements
Electrical or mechanical experience is a plus but not mandatory; strong civil competence is the priority.
Engagement Structure
Approximately 50–80 hours per month and can adjust to add more if needed to make it full time and rotation optional
Freelance or Contract
Candidates can be based in Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, etc. but must be able to speak German fluently
