Responsibilities:
1. Design and implementation of scalable, robust AI systems, including data pipelines, ML models and generative AI applications, using cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
2. Development of powerful data architectures (data lakes, data warehouses, vector databases) to support AI/ML workloads.
3. Development and optimization of MLOps and GenAIOps pipelines for efficient model deployment and monitoring.
4. Evaluating and integrating the latest AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), computer vision and reinforcement learning.
5. Presenting strategic technology recommendations to senior management to help shape AI strategy and investment decisions.
6. Conducting technical workshops and deep-dive sessions to analyze complex AI requirements and develop actionable strategies.
7. Developing reusable AI solutions, including reference architectures and generative AI blueprints.
8. Ensuring compliance with current regulatory requirements, in particular the EU AI Act.
Qualifications:
9. Completed Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
10. Ideally 5 years of experience in architecting AI/ML solutions, data science or related field.
11. Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale AI systems in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
12. Profound programming skills in Python as well as experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain etc.).
13. Extensive knowledge of MLOps and GenAIOps principles and tools.
14. Very good knowledge of English required; knowledge of German is an advantage.
