Position Overview:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Legal Counsel to join their growing legal team, you will play a pivotal role in advising on complex employment matters, shaping HR policies, and ensuring compliance with German and European labor legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal advice on individual and collective labor law matters, including employment contracts, works council negotiations, and terminations
* Support strategic HR projects, including restructurings, M&A transactions, and cross-border employment issues
* Collaborate with the works council and represent the bank in labor court proceedings where necessary
* Monitor and implement changes in labor and employment law relevant to our operations
An ideal Candidate would be:
* Fully qualified German lawyer.
* 3+ years of relevant experience in labor and employment law
* Exposure to the Financial Services sector, either within a law firm or in-house
