An Agency deals with the clients from all over the country. MAIN MISSIONS: As the Head of Finance Agency your main responsibilities are: Manage the local accounts of the entity, with focus on local costs and expenses in close cooperation with commercial teams. Follow up the day-to-day accounting and work with central team based in Luxembourg on the closing process. Ensure the consistency and correctness of accounts following local GAAP. You will be in close contact with tax, transfer pricing, insurance, legal, treasury and auditors departments Prepare the financial statements following IFRS and IT GAAP. Prepare budget, forecast and Flash. Report monthly on the differences between actuals and budget. Organize the work and manage the agency accounting team (local and external teams). You will oversee facility management for the agency. HR and pay roll administration Ensure compliance on legal and tax matter, in coordination with internal and/or external specialists Perform Sox activities on the entity Optimization and Digitization projects Coordination of Austria agency, (projects, transfer pricing, contract reviews, strategic restructuring, coordination of budget, closing) SKILLS Hard Skills Excellent knowledge of German GAAP Good understanding of tax (direct and indirect), civil and commercial legislation Understanding of social law is a plus Knowledge of IFRS is a plus. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. Languages required : Germany (perfect) and English (fluent spoken and written) At least 5 years’ experience as accounting, controlling, and reporting responsible for a medium entity Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance with specialty in accounting & tax. Soft Skills Able to keep an overall overview of the whole entity from Finance/Admin perspective. At the same time have an eye for details as they can pollute the big picture quickly. Keep/maintain/develop a good structure in the local processes. Understanding of local culture, law, and common practices. Able to follow a high number of different tasks/projects simultaneously.
