We are seeking a professional to join our Investment Banking team in Frankfurt, contributing to the success of Goldman Sachs.
Our Global Industrials Group advises clients on various financial transactions, including M&A, equity/equity-linked and debt financings, joint ventures, restructurings, and financial investments. Key sectors include Aerospace & Defense, Diversified Industrials, Building Products, Paper & Packaging, Automotive, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, and Transportation & Logistics.
Role Responsibilities
Associates develop and strengthen client relationships, participate in advisory teams, and structure and execute financial transactions. Responsibilities include creating financial models, preparing client presentations, managing transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions. They gain exposure to the firm's businesses and develop analytical, communication, and marketing skills.
Associates perform company valuation analyses, participate in M&A transactions, and assist with equity and debt issuances. They prepare presentations on industry trends, assess client situations, and recommend strategies. They coordinate with tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers, lead due diligence, and participate in negotiations. They maintain client communication and help structure transactions.

Basic Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years' investment banking or equivalent experience
* Outstanding academic and professional achievement
* Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively across teams and regions
