We are seeking a dynamic and driven Team Leader in Service Management to join our growing team in Germany. In this hybrid role, you will act as a hands on Team Leader and Project Manager, guiding successful IFS FSM (Field Service Management) implementations across global projects.
You will also support presales efforts, deliver product demos, and build strong client relationships, playing a key role in the growth and excellence of our Service Management practice. This will be a varied role working with various clients and business departments.
What you can expect from the role:
Leadership & Delivery
* Lead and mentor a team of consultants working on IFS FSM and related service management projects.
* Oversee full project lifecycle for IFS FSM implementations: scoping, planning, execution, and delivery.
* Act as project manager on complex engagements, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
* Provide direction and resolve delivery-related challenges within the team.
Client Engagement & Escalation Management
* Serve as the escalation point for clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
* Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
* Identify and manage risks and proactively propose solutions to clients.
Presales & Business Development
* Support presales activities, including discovery sessions, RFP responses, and solutioning.
* Deliver client-facing demos and workshops to showcase service management capabilities.
* Qualify and follow up on new leads and opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.
Knowledge & Best Practices
* Promote service management best practices across the team and wider organisation.
* Stay updated on industry trends, particularly in field service and enterprise service management.
* Contribute to internal capability building, including knowledge sharing and onboarding of new hires.
What we will look for in your CV:
Required:
* Proven experience in Service Management systems (e.g. IFS FSM, ServiceNow, SAP FSM, Oracle Field Service, etc.) would be beneficial.
* Strong background in consulting, with customer-facing delivery experience.
* Demonstrated project or team leadership in a service-related technology or business transformation environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluent in German and English both verbal and written.
* Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities across leadership, delivery, and presales.
Preferrable:
* Experience working on IFS FSM projects (IFS training can be provided).
* Experience managing client escalations and recovery plans.
* Comfortable delivering product demos and working closely with sales teams.
