About your role:
* Support external and internal user groups during experiments
* Operate and further develop equipment for in-situ experiments
* Support user groups planning to use the new equipment at the beamline
* Development of own independent research program on epitaxial thin films or nanostructures on surfaces at the beamline and participation in collaborative projects with internal and external groups

About you:
* PhD in physics, chemistry, materials science or related fields
* Knowledge and experience of pulsed laser deposition and/or chemical vapour deposition techniques is considered an asset
* Good experimental skills and strong interest in instrumentation development
* Hands-on experience with X-ray scattering techniques, preferably using synchrotron radiation
* Programming skills, especially in Python, will be an asset
* Excellent English and team working skills
