/Preferred Qualifications
1. Key contact for system related questions for all disciplines – design, electronics, S/W and application
2. System ownership for eBeam based metrology-, inspection- and review-systems at the Weilburg location
3. Support customer escalations (fly and fix) by driving root cause analysis using 7-step / 8D at European customer sites and also worldwide.
4. Good command of German and English, spoken and written
5. Analytical approach to solve problems/technical challenges
6. Ability to work in an international team
7. Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
Minimum Qualifications
8. Higher education (>= Master), engineer (electrical engineer, mechanical engineer) or physicist ideally with specialization in electron beam microscopy
9. Start as young professional (NCG) possible, 2-3 years professional experience or secondary professional training in this area preferred
10. Experiences: Practical experience in working with complex systems as a whole (system understanding) - ideally electron source, electron optics (charged particle optics), detectors, probe handling, vacuum systems, control engineering and calibration techniques
11. Strong analytical methods/techniques
12. "Feels comfortable in ambiguous situations"
13. Strong communication and presentation skills to customer and peers
14. Image processing and image analysis and their basic algorithms
15. Basic statistical methods to assess data and results
16. Matlab / Python
