Responsibilities / Tasks
The Manager Global Trade Services and Analytics will play a pivotal role in our biggest transformation project ever named Transform360. Transform360 involves group-wide standardization of end-to-end processes across our five Divisions, along with several SAP GTS and SAP S/4HANA rollouts. You will work on the interface between customs and foreign trade requirements and SAP GTS solutions, serving as a translator between customs/foreign trade managers and the IT department for SAP GTS developments to enhance business efficiency. This role directly supports the implementation of SAP Global Trade Services within GEA Group, reporting to the Vice President Customs and Foreign Trade, and is based in Düsseldorf, Germany, or any other GEA location worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
* SAP GTS Management: Configure, deploy, and maintain SAP GTS modules (Compliance, Customs, Risk Management).
* Trade Compliance: Ensure adherence to global trade regulations and monitor regulatory changes.
* Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in customs, trade, and logistics using SAP GTS and analytics tools.
* Analytics & Reporting: Create dashboards and reports to analyze trade flows, compliance, and KPIs.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate across departments to align system enhancements and business processes.
* Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams globally in an agile environment, ensuring clear communication.
* Training & Support: Provide training, support, and change management for new systems and processes.
Education & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related; Master’s preferred.
Experience
* Experience in global trade compliance, customs operations, or international logistics.
* Proficiency with SAP GTS (configuration, rollout, support) and SAP S/4HANA logistics modules (EWM, TMS).
* Interest in data analytics tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI).
Skills
* Deep knowledge of global trade regulations, customs procedures, and SAP GTS functionalities.
* Team player with project management experience.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment.
* Fluent in English.
