We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Sales Manager for our client, a well-established industrial company based in Luxembourg.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in field sales development, with a strong focus on building long-term relationships with clients. Native or near-native German language skills are essential, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow a network of distributors and commercial partners within the German market, focusing on Southern Germany.
* Identify new business opportunities and offer tailored technical solutions to meet client needs.
* Negotiate effectively to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Represent the company at client meetings, trade fairs, and product demonstrations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with technical and internal sales teams to deliver projects successfully.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in field sales development, preferably in an industrial or technical environment.
* Native or near-native German language skills, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* A strong command of English for international work; French is an advantage.
* Frequent travel is required, with several days per week spent away from the office.
* Tech-savviness – able to quickly understand complex products and present them clearly and persuasively.
* Self-driven, well-organised, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
* Proficient with digital tools (CRM, reporting, office suite) to effectively track sales activity.
* A full, clean driving license (Category B) is essential.
