Driven by the passion to improve the quality of people’s lives, WSA continues to grow as a market leader in the hearing aid industry. With our commitment to increase penetration in an underserved hearing care market, we want to accelerate our business transformation to reach more people, more effectively.
You’ll build and evolve the C#/.NET communication framework that connects our Windows and mobile apps with hearing aids over I²C and Bluetooth Low Energy. You’ll design robust hardware abstractions, debug issues end-to-end (from protocol to product), and continuously optimize performance and reliability. You will troubleshoot and optimize applications to improve performance and reliability, collaborating closely with hardware, firmware, and global engineering teams to ensure a holistic system perspective.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges and working in collaborative, international environments.
What you will do
* Design, develop, test, maintain and improve our framework for communication between software applications (e.g. Windows applications or Smartphone apps) and our hearing aids through various communication channels (e.g. I²C and Bluetooth Low Energy)
* Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient software using C#/.NET in an agile environment
* Design Bluetooth abstractions and software components for integration into existing systems
* Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance applications to improve performance and reliability
* Work close to hardware and firmware departments with a view on the whole system
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and global engineering teams
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support build and release processes across sites
* Create technical documentation and incorporate user feedback to improve solutions
What you bring
* 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, with strong C#/.NET expertise
* Good understanding of software design patterns, principles, and clean code practices
* Hands-on experience working in agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
* Experience in communication protocols and protocol implementation (e.g. I²C)
* Experience with Bluetooth technologies or SDK integration is a strong advantage
* Proven ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams
* Fluent in English; German/Danish language skills are an advantage
