Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
* To support set up and implementation of category and channel specific strategies in Europe
* To develop and drive relationships for European commercial omnichannel (sales teams, Sales development, etc.)
* To ensure profitable market share and net sales growth in respective channel while respecting the image of adidas through International initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
Functional
* Support development and implementation of a Specialty strategy and Channel strategy
* Develop European Specialist account strategy per category and deliver consistent market execution
* Establish professional and personal relations to main stakeholders (account teams, Sales directors, etc.)
* Translate Global and Market/BU strategies into functional strategies for the sales team
* Identify new routes to market aligned to global BU category expansion
* Improve European NPS via driving qualitative business growth and enhancing consumer experience at FMOT (First Moment of Truth)/POS
* Collaborate close with respective Account teams
* Collaborate effectively with the product teams to ensure the most relevant products are available in line with segmentation guidelines for potential customer needs
* Drive new business opportunities
Controlling
* To measure progress on own KPIs
* To report to all superiors

* Global: Global Business Dev., Global IT, SS&D WHS, Global CtC Functions, Global Retail SS&E, Global BUs
* Markets: Sales Directors, Biz. Dev., Heads of BUs, CS, Marketing & Sales Development Europe, Europ. Account Directors, Europe IT, Europe Finance and Ops

* Proven leadership and managerial skills
* Very Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, negotiation)
* Proven methodological skills (e.g. Business planning, strategic development)
* Very good functional skills (e.g. Sales, Customer Service, Marketing Finance, IT)
* High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge
* Experience in both market and above market organization is an added benefit
* Mental flexibility, initiative and determination
* Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Skills and abilities in other languages are beneficial
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
* Degree in business administration with focus on Sales/Marketing
* Business: min of 3-5 years
* Functional: min of 3-5 years in the sporting goods industry
* Cross functional experience ideally with marketing / sales / finance / operations
* Industry: sporting goods / retail / consumer goods
