Responsibilities
* Responsibility for the performance of the civil shipping department
* Compliance with and monitoring of target values and key metrics
* Lead team planning and coordination of complex maintenance, repair, and new construction projects in the areas of machine, steel, and pipeline construction, as well as drive technology
* Development of strategies for customer acquisition taking into account our corporate strategies
* Further development and inclusion of new target groups, products, markets, and sales channels, taking corporate strategies into account
* Market observation and analyses
* Communication with and reporting to company and operational management
* Preparation and testing of technical specifications and assembly concepts
* Preparation of cost calculations and offers
* Obtaining and evaluating external deliveries and services
Your Profile
* Ship operations or mechanical engineer or training comparable with professional experience in management
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Customer-oriented service mentality
* Confident demeanor, with negotiating proficiency and the necessary assertiveness
* Commitment and willingness to travel
* In-depth knowledge of the industry-specific specialist certifications and the general principles of technology
* Fluent written and spoken English
