Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated, insightful, and resourceful Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our DACH Medical Affairs team, covering Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The MSL will be responsible for leading, managing, and supporting the launch and ongoing medical activities of ripretinib and vimseltinib in Germany, reporting to the Medical Lead DACH. Key responsibilities include developing medical strategies, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with company policies and SOPs. This position is remote, with significant travel expectations, preferably based in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Key Responsibilities: Manage coverage of a designated area in western Germany, including insight tracking. Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and professional societies. Collaborate with external vendors for medical affairs activities such as advisory boards and medical education. Contribute to medical communications, including briefing documents and FAQs. Ensure accurate, balanced, and data-supported scientific communication in publications and presentations. Participate in cross-functional teams and make presentations as needed. Support internal training for customer-facing colleagues. Promote Deciphera's values. Qualifications Scientific or Medical Degree (Pharm D, PhD, MD). At least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in Oncology. Experience in interpreting scientific data, market research, and developing medical educational strategies. Proficiency with Veeva, Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong strategic leadership, collaboration, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of pharmaceutical codes of practice and SOPs. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexible, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
