As a part of Axel Springer News, Media and Tech, the BILD Apps team is responsible for building and maintaining the BILD and SportBILD apps. Having a big user base, software quality is very important for us.
We are looking for a motivated and technically oriented QA Working Student to support the QA engineers in various QA activities, ensuring the best possible app experience for our users.
Job Description
* you become part of our app development process and actively participate in ensuring and improving our product quality
* you assist in the development and execution of all QA activities in our international team
* you identify, document, and track bugs and issues in the app, working closely with the QA engineers and the development team to prioritize and resolve them, using JIRA, Charles Proxy and other tools
* you assist in the development, analysis and maintenance of our automated UI tests
* you assist in the development, review and maintenance of test cases and documentations
* you communicate with and support other members of the product development team joining our Kanban development process
Qualifications
* you are a enrolled student in a Bachelor's or Master's program with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* you have strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
* you have the desire to constantly learn new things, to keep improving yourself and to always work on the latest technologies and developments in the QA field
* you have a considerable experience and a good understanding of mobile news apps.
* being fluent in English, both written and spoken is a must
* being fluent in German is a plus but is not required
