Job Description: Generative AI Engineer Job Type: Depend, either Onsite in Heidelberg, or Hybrid or Remote. Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Generative AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art generative models (e.g., transformers, diffusion models, GANs) that power innovative AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate combines strong machine learning expertise with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and a basic understanding of front-end development to help deliver end-to-end, production-ready AI solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, train, and fine-tune generative models (e.g., GPT, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion). Build scalable ML pipelines for training and inference, including CI/CD workflows. Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration of AI into user-facing products. Develop RESTful APIs or services to serve models in production environments. Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and iterate based on results. Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve deployed AI systems. Stay current with research trends in generative models and foundation models. Promote responsible and ethical AI practices in content generation and deployment. Requirements: Must-Have: Bachelor’s or master's in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field. Strong proficiency with ML/DL frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. Proven experience with generative models (e.g., transformers, GANs, VAEs). Programming skills in Python and familiarity with deployment on AWS/GCP/Azure. Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker). Basic frontend development knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or similar). Nice-to-Have: Experience in NLP, vision, or foundation models. Experience in containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding MLOps and model monitoring tools.
