Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion – it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.Your day at NTT DATAThe Senior Principal Solutions Architect is a highly skilled subject matter expert, responsible for consulting with clients and leading internal teams to create strategies, transformational designs, and the architectural vision for large and complex solutions that meet client needs.This role provides multi-technology consulting services on application software, infrastructure, and related technology components.ResponsibilitiesLead the development of complex solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas.Evaluate and advise on alternative architectures considering cost, performance, and scalability.Provide technical leadership and consultation, supporting pre-sales efforts and client discovery.Influence subscription license sales, provide educational inputs, and serve as the point of contact for licensing queries.Analyze client software purchases to recommend effective licensing strategies.Lead transformation deals, including license conversions and optimizations.Design cloud-based or on-premises components and interfaces.Understand client requirements, analyze data, and resolve issues.Monitor emerging technologies and create technology roadmaps.Design components using appropriate modeling techniques and standards.Develop multiple design views to address stakeholder concerns and requirements, including proof of concept.Recommend new go-to-market services and promote vertical expertise.Develop holistic, integrated solutions across technical and business value chains.Mentor less experienced solutions architects.Knowledge and AttributesExtensive knowledge of multi-vendor service integrations, software, OS, and infrastructure design.Strong communication skills for engaging with executive and technical audiences.Deep understanding of licensing models (Perpetual, Subscription, Enterprise Agreements, etc.) and key vendor licensing structures.Ability to develop and leverage reference architectures.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.Collaborate effectively across teams such as sales, product, and delivery.Leverage personal networks for opportunities.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, business, or related field.Relevant certifications (desired), e.g., Cisco CCIE/CCXP.Extensive experience in digital infrastructure and technology capabilities of key vendors.Experience in designing solutions, licensing models, and software asset management.Experience in project sales, architecture validation, and working within global IT services providers.Additional AttributesApply extensive knowledge and lead application of principles and practices.Work on future-focused issues requiring judgment and limited information.Build formal networks with decision-makers and be recognized as an industry expert.Translate organizational vision into functional plans impacting medium to long-term goals.Accountable for results affecting entire functions and broader organizational impacts.Workplace TypeHybrid WorkingAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30+ billion global leader in business and technology services, serving a majority of the Fortune Global 100.
