In the Faculty III: School of Economic Disciplines, Chair of Management, Accounting and Corporate Governance, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.04.2026 at the following conditions:
1. 50% = 19,92 hours
2. Pay grade 13 TV-L
3. limited until 31.03.2029
Your tasks:
4. Participation in interdisciplinary projects in research, teaching and transfer with a particular focus on the areas of sustainability and sustainable accounting, finance and corporate governance
5. Conducting quantitative-empirical and qualitative analyses
6. Publication of research results in international journals
7. Support in the design, and the organization of specialised workshops or conferences
8. Supervision of students and assistance with administrative tasks
9. Support in teaching (2 semester hours per week)
10. Support in establishing an interdisciplinary research centre in the field of accounting for society
Your profile:
11. Ideally, a Master's degree in accounting, finance or management or related a field with excellent grades
12. Strong interest in sustainability accounting, management control or governance issues
13. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
14. Basic knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
15. Ideally experience with statistical software (R, STATA, or MAXQDA)
16. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
17. Motivation to conduct high-quality research and teaching
18. Excellent communication skills with a very good command of English as well as at least basic knowledge of German
