Overview Job Title: Senior Manager Sales PF EMEA – Tipper Tie Equipment Reporting to: Senior Director Sales PF EMEA Location: Glinde, Germany (EMEA scope) We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager Sales PF EMEA – Tipper Tie Equipment to lead and drive sales performance across the EMEA region. This role is responsible for managing the full sales funnel, developing high-performing teams, strengthening distributor partnerships, and delivering sustainable growth aligned with annual operating plans (AOP). You will play a key leadership role within the Glinde organization, collaborating cross-functionally with product development, marketing, operations, and global teams to support commercial success and customer satisfaction. Tipper Tie provides innovative manual, automated, and semi-automated clip packaging machines perfect for wrapping and sealing deli meats like hams. These systems, which include closure, hanging, and labeling materials, streamline packaging, boost efficiency, and cut costs. In line with JBT Marel's excellence, Tipper Tie enhances deli meat production lines. Ongoing technological advancements and customer collaboration keep Tipper Tie at the forefront of packaging innovation, improving product quality and operations. Key Responsibilities Sales leadership & Strategy: Manage the Tipper Tie new equipment and customer care inbound funnel, setting clear territory targets for account managers and distributors in line with AOP Represent sales in leadership discussions with a strong focus on forecasting, pricing strategy, contract management, and growth initiatives Contribute to regional strategies across sales, marketing, pricing, customer retention, and distribution Team management & Development Lead, coach, and develop the sales organization through regular 1:1 sessions, performance reviews, and customer engagement Implement and manage Sales Incentive Plans and performance KPIs Assess team capabilities and optimize structure, territories, and resource allocation Oversee hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of account managers Distributor & Partner management Establish and manage Management by Objectives (MBO) frameworks with distributors Drive annual growth plans and strengthen long-term partner relationships Align sales activities across internal divisions and act as a key interface between customers, account managers, and business units Operational excellence Oversee sales support processes including administration, customer service, invoicing, and collections Ensure timely and accurate delivery of quotes, proposals, and customer communications Monitor pipeline performance using CRM tools and provide regular reporting, including weekly funnel updates Customer & Market engagement Maintain strong customer relationships and capture Voice of Customer (VoC) insights Identify market barriers and opportunities to maximize sales growth Participate in industry trade shows and drive innovative lead-generation initiatives Cross-functional collaboration Liaise with product development, marketing, and operations teams in both EMEA and the US to support product commercialization Support development of product materials and marketing campaigns Travel: Required within EMEA and occasionally globally Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (required), MBA (preferred) Minimum 10 years of experience in selling food processing equipment and parts (protein processing preferred) At least 7 years managing complex order-to-delivery processes with broad product portfolios Minimum 4 years in a sales leadership role within an industrial manufacturing environment Strong proficiency in CRM and analytics tools (Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, Showpad) Skills & Competencies Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills Strong leadership and coaching capabilities Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset Ability to manage complexity and drive execution across multiple stakeholders High level of customer focus and relationship management About JBT Marel At JBT Marel, what we do matters.
