Head of Accounting, Tax & Treasury (ATT) (m/f/d)
The position holder is responsible for overseeing the Global Accounting, Tax, and Treasury functions at Allianz Technology SE, including its subsidiaries and affiliates, and reports directly to the CFO and functionally to the Group Chief Accountant. As a key function holder, you will organize and define all Accounting, Tax, and Treasury topics and processes, acting as a key contact person and business partner to both internal Allianz Technology and external Allianz Group stakeholders, including H2, H4, AZ Services, and Allianz Operating Entities (OEs).
What you do
* Oversee regular internal and external financial closing and reporting processes in accordance with IFRS, HGB, and MVBS standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Define and implement Allianz Technology's accounting policies, guidelines (e.g., capitalization), and processes (e.g., billing) based on respective accounting rules, in close collaboration with H2-GAR, to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
* Manage all aspects of tax-related topics, including VAT, CIT, Transfer Pricing, and other relevant tax matters, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
* Manage Allianz Technology's liquidity needs from an end-to-end perspective, optimizing cash flow and ensuring financial stability.
* Provide strategic direction and oversight to outsourcing providers for Finance and Business Services (FBS) topics, ensuring quality and efficiency in service delivery.
* Serve as the primary interface to financial auditors, facilitating audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Drive department transformation including implementation of new TOM aligned with the strategy
* Design and implement process improvement related to RTR (including MEC, YEC and reporting), PTP, OTC, tax and treasury
* Act as a strategic business partner for accounting topics, providing expert consultation on Allianz Technology SE projects, including guidance on capitalization and evaluation of business cases, to support informed decision-making and strategic initiatives.
What you bring
* Extensive experience in a senior-level financial or actuarial position, preferably within the IT sector, showcasing a proven track record of success in managing complex financial operations.
* Proficiency in IFRS, especially IFRS16, including the treatment of intangible assets, as well as HGB and MVBS, ensuring compliance with international and local accounting standards.
* Proven track record in asset capitalization.
* Exceptional leadership skills, coupled with excellent communication and teamwork abilities, thriving in an international and multicultural environment.
* Broad experience in navigating and operating within a complex global organization
* Strong integrity mindset to guarantee compliance in all situations.
* Strong background in all relevant finance topics and a deep understanding of business financials, including accounting, finance, balance sheets, and industry best practices.
* Advanced analytical capabilities and outstanding interpersonal skills, enabling effective problem-solving and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
* Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
* University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
