Evaluate and underwrite global, cross line of business energy and power risks Focus on power risks, with conventional, but especially renewable power (e.g. batteries, wind, solar) Analyze and assess technical risk exposures, coverage needs and loss history for worldwide projects Collaborate with our worldwide branches and internal stakeholders to develop tailored insurance solutions Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes (e.g. hHydrogen, CCS, ...) Monitor and manage the performance of parts of the global energy and power portfolio Support in building a cross line of business energy approach Provide technical expertise and support to underwriting teams globally, sharing best practices and knowledge Preferably a Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent diplomas (e.g. in engineering or risk management) High technical expertise in the area of conventional and renewable power Extensive experience in energy and power risks / technologies, preferably in an insurance environment Preferably international experience in prior roles and willingness to travel occasionally Strong analytical and technical skills to assess risk exposures, to evaluate loss potential and to take responsibility for underwriting decisions Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in English We know that nobody is perfect and not all career paths are straightforward.
