Are you a German speaker with a knack for helping people? We're looking for a friendly and proactive Customer Advisor to join our team in Malta. This is a great opportunity to start a career in customer service, supporting a major e-commerce brand. You'll handle all customer questions and issues through email and chat, ensuring every customer feels heard and valued.
This role offers a flexible hybrid setup: you’ll spend two days a week at our modern office in Qormi and work from the comfort of your home for the remaining three days.
What You'll Be Doing
Your main goal will be to provide top-notch support to our German-speaking customers. Forget about phone calls—your work will be entirely written, allowing you to focus on crafting clear, helpful, and professional responses.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Handling written inquiries: Responding to customer emails and live chats about orders, products, shipping, returns, and more.
* Solving problems: Investigating and resolving customer issues with a calm and empathetic approach.
* Becoming a product expert: Learning all about our client's products and policies so you can give accurate advice.
* Maintaining brand reputation: Making sure every interaction leaves a positive impression of the brand.
* Documenting everything: Keeping detailed notes on all customer interactions in our system.
Who We're Looking For
We value your attitude and potential more than your previous work history. If you're a quick learner with a great attitude, we'll provide all the training you need.
You should have:
* Fluent/Native German skills: This is a must for communicating with our customers.
* Good English skills (B2 level or higher): Necessary for training and internal communication.
* Excellent written communication skills in both German and English.
* A natural ability to solve problems and a genuine desire to help people.
* Empathy and patience: You can stay calm and positive, even when a customer is frustrated.
* The ability to work well both independently and with a team.
* Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required. We welcome motivated beginners!
