About the opportunity
We are on the lookout for a Data Analyst (Payment) to join the Fintech team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
Be part of building the financial backbone of Delivery Hero. You’ll develop products that empower millions of customers and merchants, from seamless payments to innovative financial solutions like wallets and credit. Your work will support our path to profitability by creating financial flexibility for users and enabling smooth transactions across 70+ countries.
In this role you will:
1. Partner closely with Fintech Business and Product stakeholders to understand their analytical needs, and execute the roadmap for analytics work for Payment Analytics
2. Develop and optimize monitoring tools, perform deep-dive analysis and provide insights to facilitate a data-driven decision making
3. Exploit and analyze high volumes of data in order to quantify and answer questions to improve the business performance. Monitor KPIs, identify user behavior patterns and actively take actions to improve online payment performance across multiple regions
4. Demonstrate proficiency in coding practices and analytic approaches
5. Be able to answer the 'What?' question effectively and within reasonable deadlines, but also think about the 'So What?' and 'Now What' portions of the analysis
6. Proactively bring new ideas and suggestions to the team and our internal clients to improve our Fintech set up
What you need to be successful
7. You have worked as a data analyst and delivered measurable impact on improving understanding of payments
8. You have proven experience with daily practice of SQL, and visualization tools such as Tableau, and Looker
9. You have experience working with online payments and deep knowledge of the PSP, issuer, acquirer, and card scheme data.
10. You are eager on making business impact through analytics and you understand the product lifecycle
11. You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
12. You demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
Nice To Have:
13. Experience with BigQuery and Airflow
14. Experience with Python
15. Understanding of real-time data analytics
16. Good understanding of mathematical and statistical data analysis techniques such as regression, extrapolation, time series analysis, forecasting, statistical hypothesis testing and econometric models
