Role Summary
EUSMS is seeking a structured, committed volunteer to take co-ownership of daily social media publishing and content management operations. Under direct guidance from the CEO, you will bring our communications strategy to life by posting regularly across Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok (and more) organizing raw media content, and building branded visuals using Canva (license provided by EUSMS).
This is a hands-on, systems-driven role ideal for someone who thrives in process design, content logistics, and social platform fluency—more than writing marketing copy or running ads.

You’ll help us build a repeatable, scalable posting and asset workflow, reducing time waste and enabling other volunteers to contribute.
Strategy Execution
The CEO (on-site in East Africa) sets the messaging and tone and sends the raw media assets, you translate that into action. Your coordination turns strategic direction into consistent public engagement.
Core Responsibilities
Daily Social Media Execution
* Post daily using provided captions, video clips, or visual templates
* Ensure posts follow EUSMS brand guidelines and platform formatting best practices
* Light or monthy KPI (max 2 per platform) tracking is planned at this time
Content Asset Management
* Organize raw media (photos, videos, quotes) into a usable folder structure
* Help maintain a central SharePoint/OneDrive media library for cross-team access
* Coordinate with CEO and volunteers to ensure new assets are tagged and archived properly
Visual Design & Editing
* Use Canva (Pro license provided) to adapt and finalize visual content for posts
* Maintain and improve Canva templates for recurring content types. Colors/logo some templates are already setup
* Optimize visuals for different platforms (mobile-first, vertical/horizontal formats)
Process Development
* Take over the mindset to execute improvements to the workflows and processes
* Coordinate with other in the team to build a simple robust system (e.g. to cover when others are in vacation)
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
* Proficiency with Canva (basic to intermediate level)
* Comfort using OneDrive or SharePoint for organizing files
* Ability to do daily posts
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Prior experience managing or structuring a digital asset library
* Familiarity with nonprofit communications or social impact storytelling
* Awareness of platform trends (what content performs where)
* Ability to write down processes and build for the future (when you or others leave)
