Current INTERNAL Local National Employees throughout Germany. This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S. Forces in Germany, including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany.
Hauptaufgaben
Serves as working leader of at least 3 employees performing Target Maintenance Worker Duties. The highest level of non-supervisory work led is Target maintenance Worker, A4-4801-3. Individually performs work as Target Maintenance Worker A4-4801-3.
Assigns work to subordinates. Starts and demonstrates proper work methods. Insures that materials and tools are at work sites and that needed stock is obtained from supply. Checks proper and safe operation of equipment. Advises employees to follow instructions and to meet deadlines. Checks work in progress and upon completion for compliance with instructions and technical adequacy of work output. Provides information to supervisor on status of progress of work, causes of delays and problems.
Works along with other employees and sets the pace performing non-supervisory work of the same kind and level as the group led. Performs a variety of incidental labor and service assignments as required.
Explains and demonstrates new techniques or methods to assure improved quality, quantity and economy. Requisitions and assures economical and correct use of supplies, tools and equipment. Provides information for time and attendance and incidental records as needed. Assures adherence to rules on housekeeping, fire safety and care of equipment observes worker performance and conducts on-the-job training for individual employees. Makes informal appraisals of performance of subordinates. Reports results to supervisor. Maintains discipline and reports incidents to supervisor. Refers personnel problems and requests for leave to supervisor.
During performance of duties and transport of employees and material operate an automotive transport vehicle requiring a Class C Drivers License and US Government Motor Vehicle Operators Identification Card. Adheres to traffic regulations and operating instructions. Performs operators maintenance. Maintains trip ticket with necessary information and reports deficiencies to supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned.

No specific education required. Applicant must be able to perform the duties of the position after technical on-the-job training.

Beschäftigungsbedingungen
• Es handelt sich um eine permanente Vollzeitstelle (38.5 Std. /Woche). This is a permanent full-time position (38.5 hrs /week).
• Arbeiten an Wochenenden und Feiertagen sowie Schichtarbeit erforderlich. / Working on weekends and holidays as well as rotating shift work required.
• Heben und Tragen bis zu 36 kg erforderlich. / Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
